Chair, Patricia Rego called the meeting to order and certified compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
Motion by James Bowers, seconded by Timothy McCumber to adopt agenda. Motion carried.
Motion by Glen Johnson, seconded by Valerie McAuliffe to approve the minutes for the previous Human Services Board meeting held on May 7, 2018. Motion carried.

Business Items:
Review and Approve Monthly Vouchers: Distributed electronically. Jennifer Kleckner reviewed the Monthly Voucher Report. Motion by Valerie McAuliffe, seconded by James Bowers, to approve monthly vouchers in the amount of $1,258,831.68. Motion carried.
Accounts Receivable Report: Jennifer Kleckner distributed and reviewed the Accounts Receivable Report for April 2018.
Approval for Collection Requests: Motion by Beverly Vertein, seconded by Timothy McCumber, to approve sending 14 accounts to Credit Management Control for $2,000.09. Motion carried.
Monthly Reports: Distributed electronically. Jennifer Kleckner discussed the April 2018 Volatile line report.
Year-End Report: Daniel Brattset discussed the 2017 Year-End Report.
Appoint Representatives: Dan Brattset discussed the two different types of boards which meet quarterly.
Mississippi Valley Health Services Commission – Timothy McCumber volunteered. Motion by Brandon Lohr, seconded by Valerie McAuliffe to approve Timothy McCumber as the representative for Mississippi Valley Health Services Commission.
Marsh Country Health Alliance Board – Valerie McAuliffe volunteered. Motion by Timothy McCumber, seconded by James Bowers to approve Valerie McAuliffe as the representative for Marsh Country Health Alliance Board.
Department Updates:
Presentation: B-3/CLTS (Birth-to-Three/Children’s Long-Term Support: Bridgitte Bodette introduced the B-3/CLTS services that are provided.
The Birth-to-Three Program is a federally mandated early intervention program to support families with children ages birth to 36 months who have a diagnosed disability or a development delay. Staff are trained to train parents, teachers, care providers and to coach strategies on a daily basis to make part of their daily routine. These services provide intra mental health, are team focused. Prior to the age of three, staff assist transitioning from county provided services to the school district.

Children’s Long Term Support (CLTS) Medicaid Waiver Program is for children, birth to 18, who have substantial developmental, emotional, and/or physical disabilities and are living at home or in the community. Goal is to keep children home rather than be institutionalized. Program also assists with the transition to adulthood, help with guardianship and court processes.
Closing of Lincoln Hills – Process of Regional Facilities: Dan Brattset spoke regarding the closing of Lincoln Hills. Different counties are working to create a model for services to transition juveniles.
State DHS Award MAT Grant of $350,000 to Continue Model at Sauk County DHS: Dan Brattset discussed the current three year awarded grant for $1,000,000 split between two counties for Opiate addiction. The State has adopted the current model used by Sauk County for other counties to follow. The State has awarded Sauk County with $350,000 to assist with continuation of services.
Next Meeting: The next meeting of the Sauk County Human Services Board will be July 9, 2018, at 4:15 p.m. in Room 213.
Public Comment
Cindy Jones, who has been a public attendee to many Department of Human Services Board meetings, announced she will be retiring. Today is her last day attending the meeting. Her last day with the county will be July 6, 2018.
Motion by James Bowers, seconded by Timothy McCumber, to adjourn at 5:56 p.m.Motion Carried.
