at the Town of Dellona Town Hall

Information for the planned reconditioning of approximately 1.611 miles of County WD located in Sections 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, T13N, R4E, Town of Winfield, Sauk County, will be discussed at a public involvement meeting on Monday, April 6th, 2026, the Sauk County Highway Department announced today.

The meeting will be held from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Town of Dellona Town Hall, located at E8062 Highway H, Lyndon Station, WI 53944.

The Sauk County Highway Department is proposing to reconstruct and recondition County WD from the intersection with CTH K to the intersection with D and W Road. The project will consist of cold-in-place recycling for the majority of the project. A portion of the project will consist of reconstruction (CTH K intersection to approximately 0.6 miles east on CTH WD). Drainage/ditching will also be improved through the reconstruction section. Culvert pipes will be replaced throughout the project length. Skinner Road and D and W Road will be realigned to improve intersection sight distance. County WD will be closed to traffic during construction operations. No detour will be provided. Construction is currently scheduled for the 2026 construction season.

The April 6th meeting will begin with a short presentation at 5:00 PM followed by an open house format with a variety of exhibits and maps available for review.  Representatives from Jewell Associates Engineers, Inc. will be on hand to answer questions throughout the meeting.  Attendees will have the option of making written or verbal comments during the gathering.
