Thursday, October 26, 2017 – 9:00 a.m.
1. Meeting called to order and certified Open Meeting notice by James Hodges.
Members in attendance:

2. Motion by M. Krueger, seconded by K. Stieve to adopt the agenda.

3. Motion by K. Stieve, seconded by J. Meegan to approve minutes of the previous meeting.

5. Public Comment:
J. Meegan thanks the Highway Department for taking care of the STH 136 pothole issue.
J. Meegan raises concerns of traffic backing up at the traffic signals when exiting the USH 12 bypass eastbound at CTH W and STH 136.
J. Meegan comments on the southbound USH 12 and Lehman Road intersection. His concerns are that vehicles mistakably are entering the turn lane due to missing signage and/or road markings.
-Highway Department working with State to add additional pavement marking.
K. Voelker stated that school buses are still getting passed while stopped with red lights flashing.

J. Hodges updated Committee on Quarterly Reports and Statistics.
9. Review WisDOT Quarterly Reports & Statistics:
T. Frost reported 488 fatalities statewide, up from last year’s 477 fatalities.
Community Maps will be automatically updated when entering new data. No re-entry is needed. More enhancements are coming.
Next Governor’s Conference scheduled for August 22-23, 2018 at the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva.
