The Sauk County Farm located 3 miles south of Reedsburg along State Rd 23, contains approximately 120 acres of woodland along a hillside and stream. The woodland was assessed by Wisconsin DNR Forester in March of 2022 as part of the Sauk County Farm Master Planning process.The County is requesting a Forest Stewardship Plan for a complete inventory of the woodland with the following components: management strategies for invasive species control; sustainable forestry practices; regular timber harvests for maintaining a healthy tree population; and maps.
