  1. Call to Order and Certify Compliance with Open Meeting Law; Meeting called to order at 10:05 a.m. and certified to be in compliance with Open Meeting Law.  
  2. Adopt Agenda; Motion to adopt agenda by Demers, second by Ellington. Motion carried.
  3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting; Motion to adopt minutes of previous meeting by Demers, second by Ellington. Motion carried.

  6. Elections of Officers
    1. Chairperson; Moore nominated by Spencer. Motion to close nominations and adopt unanimous consent by Demers, second by Rudolph; Motion carried.
    2. Vice-Chairperson; Spencer nominated by Moore. Motion to close nominations and adopt unanimous consent by Demers, second by Ellington. Motion carried.
    3. Secretary; Ellington nominated by Klepper. Motion to close nominations and adopt unanimous consent by Demers, second by Spencer. Motion carried.
  7. Business Items
    1. Transportation Updates
      1. Ridership Update; provided figures for Q1 ridership. Goodman and Blodgett met with Porter from GWAAR; Porter thought our costs were reasonable for the grant we are currently covered under. ADRC is planning special shopping bus for La Valle due to fire. ADRC collecting comment cards from each trip.
      2. Annual reports from 2014 and 2015 have now been submitted.
      3. Revenues; Newkirk has streamlined Transportation billing procedures. Goodman shared that the ADRC has funds available for customers that can’t afford the ride.
      4. Letters will be sent to HDM clients in June inviting them to take an ADRC bus into one of the dining centers.
    2. Information from GWAAR Transportation Specialist
    3. 2017 Locally Developed Coordinated Transit – Human Services Transportation Plan; ADRC is one of four counties in the state that is not part of an area transportation coordination council. Plan will need to be written– will need a public hearing and need to decide who to include.  
    4. Work on 5310 grant begins soon – grant is highly competitive and covers half of volunteer escort program and half of bus program.
  8. Public Comment; Ellington shared that a community wheelchair-bound community member waited over 2 hours for a taxi ride; Goodman has spoken to taxi companies about this in the past.
