REGULAR MEETING

Attendance:

Members Present: Tut Gramling, Chair; David Moore, Vice-Chair; Walter Darling, Judy Ellington, Vern Demers, Leah Lennon, Eileen Klepper, Dwayne Cheers, Lori Rudolph

Others Present: Dan Brattset, Deputy Director, Sauk County Human Services; Susan Blodgett, Director, Aging and Disability Resource Center of Sauk County;  Julie Hyser, Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County Transportation Coordinator; Linda Champagne, Aging and Disability Resource Center of Sauk County Program Specialist

Absent:  Jim Brown, Cindy Liegel, Jim Pritzkow(excused), Richard Running, Alan Wildman(excused)

  1. Call to Order and Certify Compliance with Open Meeting Law:  The meeting was called to order by Chair Tut Gramling at 10:02 a.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
  2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by Moore to adopt the Agenda, second by Demers with the addition of Update to Wisconsin Budget impact on ADRC under Business Items. Motion carried.
  3. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting:  Motion by Moore to approve the November 25, 2014 Regular Meeting Minutes, second by Lennon. Motion carried.
  4. Public Comment: None.
  5. Communications: None.
  6. Business Items
    1. Discussion of the Transportation Program: shopping bus.  Much discussion ensues with the committee arriving at consensus that the ADRC Shopping Bus will be used for shopping trips only. Trips to Ho-Chunk Casino will be added to Fun Day Travels trips effective August 2015.
    2. Transportation Financial Review: No report.  When the First Quarter 2015 report can be generated, it will be mailed to committee members.
    3. Update from the Communities: Issues Raised, Priorities Expressed: Discussion included discussion of Volunteer Escort Drive program users who may need rides 3+ times per week can become cost prohibitive to users and the Wisconsin Governor’s 2015-2017 Budget that could still result in proposed changes to aging and disability programs.
  7. Public Comment:  None.
  8. Next Meeting: Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
  9. Adjourn: Motion by V. Demers to adjourn the Transportation Coordination Committee meeting, second by E. Klepper at 11:10 a.m.  Motion carried.
