Others Present: Timothy Stieve, Kurt Wegner, Elizabeth Geoghegan, Ian Crammond, Lisa Vodak, Tom Kriegl
1. Meeting called to order by Von Asten at 5:15 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met.
2. Adopt Agenda: Motion by Giebel, 2nd by Deitrich to adopt Agenda. Motion Carried.
3. Adopt draft minutes of July 7, 2015 meetings: Motion by Deitrich, 2nd by Hambrecht to adopt the draft minutes. Motion Carried.
4. Public Comment: None.
5. Communications: Request for use of courthouse lawn to promote the fifth annual Summerset Festival of the Arts by placing a banner on the Courthouse Lawn prior to the August 22nd event. Motion by Deitrich, 2nd by Giebel to approve courthouse lawn use. Carried.

i. Setting minimum bids for Certain Properties for Tax Deed Sale-
Parcel #146-0147-53416 Sale price set at $60,000. Motion by Deitrich, 2nd by Giebel. Motion Carried.
Parcel #151-0139-00000 Sale price set at $33,500, motion also included that the committee will pay back to the Village of
Merrimac, any amount above what the County is owed, to help offset the cost the Village of Merrimac will be paying
to Sauk County for the Specials owed in the amount of $33,223.82. Motion by Hambrecht, 2nd by
Deitrich. Motion Carried.
Parcel #206-2127-05210 Sale price set at $163,275 Motion by Deitrich, 2nd by Giebel. Motion Carried.
Parcel #276-1217-00000 Sale price set at $5,945 Motion by Hambrecht, 2nd by Deitrich. Motion Carried.
Parcel #147-0032-00000 Sale price set at $13,942 to be offered to the Village of LaValle, which is ½ of the amount owed
on this property to Sauk County, due to delinquent taxes, interest, penalties and other charges. Motion by Giebel, 2nd by
Hambrecht. Motion Carried-3 in favor, 1 opposed ( Deitrich).
Parcel #171-0432-00000 Sale price set at $9,000 Motion by Hambrecht, 2nd by Giebel. Motion Carried.
Parcel #171-0433-00000 Sale price set at $8,900 Motion by Hambrecht, 2nd by Giebel. Motion Carried.
b. Update on Energy & Solar Assessment Project-
Tim and Ian have been in contact with E3 on their concerns with the report of the HVAC assessments in numerous areas. They are following up with E3 to obtain more information to bring to the committee by the next meeting.
7. Departmental Updates - Risk Management –Kurt Wegner
a. Monthly report – Kurt reviewed his monthly report with the committee.
b. Review and Approval of Deductibles, Motion by Hambrecht, 2nd by Giebel to approve deductibles. Motion Carried
8. Departmental Updates – Tim Stieve & Ian Crammond
a. Monthly report – Tim reviewed the monthly Buildings report with the committee. Motion by Giebel, 2nd by Deitrich. Motion Carried.
b. Review and approval vouchers. Motion by Giebel, 2nd by Deitrich to approve vouchers. Motion Carried.
c. Tim discussed the East entrance resolution, resolution not ready at this time, working on more details.
d. Review 2016 Building Services, Landfill and Insurance Fund Budget packets- Tim highlighted several 2016 budget cost for the committee to review as more discussion will be had at the next meeting.
e. Review and possible approval of resolution to complete emergency repairs to West Square Chiller*-After receiving several bids, Tim will be moving forward with the lowest bid which will not exceed the $10,000 thus no Resolution required.
