b. It is anticipated that the Committee may enter into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. s. 19.85(1)(e) for the purposes of deliberating or negotiating the purchase of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. (Topic: Discussion and Possible Approval to Purchase Property at 616 Linn Street, Baraboo, WI 53913). A roll call vote will be taken to go into closed session and return to Open session.

    a.    Building Services Monthly Report

Members Present:               Smooth Detter, Joel Chrisler, Carl Gruber, Robert W Spencer

Others Present:                     Ian Crammond, Lisa Vodak, Phil Raab, William Commings, Pat Gavinski, Laurie Hasenbalg

 

1.     Meeting called to order by Detter at 5:00 p.m. Compliance with Open Meeting Law was met (WIS. STAT. 19.84)

2.    Adopt Agenda:  Motion by Gruber, 2nd by Spencer to adopt Agenda, Motion Carried

3.     Adopt draft minutes of the May 5th & May 17th meeting: Motion by Gruber to adopt the draft minutes, 2nd by Chrisler.  Motion Carried.

4.    Public Comment- Laurie Hasenbalg has requested a map of the ATV route within the Landfill space.

5.     Communications- none

       

6.   Business Items:

     a.      Treasurer’s Report – Elizabeth provided the Sales Report for May

     b.  It is anticipated that the Committee may enter closed session pursuant to Wis. Stat. s. 19.85(1)(e) for the purposes of deliberating or negotiating the purchase of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. (Topic: Discussion and Possible Approval to Purchase Property at 616 Linn Street, Baraboo, WI 53913). A roll call vote will be taken to go into closed session and return to Open session.

Motion by Gruber to go into closed session, 2nd by Chrisler. Roll Call: Detter-yes, Chrisler-yes, Gruber-yes, Spencer-yes, Teelin-Absent. Motion Carried 5:03 pm.

Motion by Gruber to return to open session, 2nd by Chrisler. Roll Call: Detter- yes, Chrisler- yes, Gruber- yes, Spencer- yes, Teelin- Absent  Motion Carried 5:15 pm

 

  

  

7.  Buildings, Communications/Towers & Landfill Updates – Ian Crammond

           a. Monthly Report- William and Ian reviewed the monthly report with the committee.

     b. Communications Report- Ian & Phil discussed the communications report with the committee.

           c. Courthouse/Human Services Reedsburg Construction Update Ian discussed the progress of the construction sites

           d. Update from Ad Hoc Highway committee members – no updates at this time

           e. Update on ATV trails at the closed Sauk County Landfill Ian updated the Committee on the ATV trail project

           f. Discussion and possible approval of a three-year contract with GLS Utility LLC to be the locating service for Sauk County Fiber. Motion by Gruber to approve,  2nd by Chrisler. Motion Carried

           g.  Discussion and possible approval of updated Exchange of Services Agreement with Reedsburg Utility Commission Motion by Gruber to approve the updated Exchange of Services Agreement with Reedsburg Utility Commission, 2nd by Spencer. Motion Carried

 

8.     Building Services Capital Project updates- Ian discussed the Capital Project updates

9.    Review and Approval of Vouchers Motion by Gruber to approve the vouchers in the amount of $ 95,105.10 2nd by Chrisler . Motion Carried.

10.  Next Meeting: July 7th, 2022 @ 5:00 pm

11.  Adjourn:  Motion by Gruber  to adjourn, 2nd by Chrisler  Motion Carried
