The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Stoeckmann. Certification of the open meeting law was noted.
Moved by Clement, second by Burns to approve the agenda. Motion carried.
Moved by Burns second by Nobs, to adopt the minutes of the September 8, 2010 Public Health Board meeting. Motion carried.
Communications: Bodendein distributed a letter received from the City of Baraboo in appreciation of the environmental health specialists on the assistance with the Ringling Riverfront Redevelopment Community Health Monitoring Project.

Business Items for Discussion and/or Action:
A. Motion by Stehling second by Clement to go into closed session pursuant to Wisc. Stat. 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance evaluation of Public Health Director/Health Officer. Roll call: Nobs-aye, Burns-aye, Stehling-aye, Stoeckmann-aye, Clement-aye, Delong-aye.
B. Motion by Stehling, second by Nobs to reconvene in open session. Motion carried.
C. Motion by Stehling, second by Nobs to approve a resolution declaring November 2010 Pancreatic Awareness Month in Sauk County. Motion carried.
D. Report by Bodendien on the Long Term Recovery efforts of the flood of 2008. The Long Term Recovery committee of volunteers has completed its work donating several hundred hours to the flood recovery efforts. The team worked with over 700 families and awarded approximately $400, 000 to assist residents with home repair, mitigation, home furnishings and other flood related losses.
E. Bodendein reported on the progress of the community needs assessment. The initial meeting of stakeholders was held on October 18 and another meeting is scheduled for November 19, 2010.
F. Environmental health inspection report presented by Bodendein. This report will become part of the monthly reports at the request of the committee.
G. Stehling reported that the Continuum of Care Committee has not met.

B. Motion by Burns and second by Delong to approve the September 2010 invoices of $39,196.18. Motion carried
C. Information provided on Resolution 21 that was presented to the state legislature.
