Meeting Minutes

 

Committee Members Present: Bailey, Dederich, Deitrich, Felton, Gavin, Geoghegan, Jelinek, Pate, Wilson,

Committee Members Absent: Hameau, Templin,

 

Call to Order: called meeting to order @ 3:01 pm

 

Approve Agenda: Motion by Geoghegan, seconded by Gavin to adopt agenda.

 

Approve Minutes: Motion by Gavin, seconded by Bailey to approve minutes from September 17, 2020 meeting.

 

Public Comment: none

 

Communications: none

 

Review of 2020 Budget Balance: Felton handed out 2020 Year End budget report document. Discussion of the budget line items.

 

Discussion of Land Records Activities & Updates by Department:

 

2020 WLIP Strategic Initiative Grant – Felton noted that no projects have been developed yet. This grant is for $40,000. Dederich stated the projects are being compiled. He states he will have the projects to Felton in the next couple days.
2021 WLIP Strategic Initiative Grant – Felton stated that approval of Sauk County’s 2021 WLIP SIG application.  Sometime in March we should receive the first half of the grant.  The total grant is for $50,000.  Sauk Co will be applying these grant fund for offsetting of 2020 Orthoimagery costs.
2020 Orthophotography & LiDAR project update – Felton mentioned that both the LiDAR had arrived and is being reviewed by staff.  The Orthoimagery should be delivered to us in the next couple weeks.**note: The Ortho data arrived the first week in February. 
2020 Census & Redistricting: Received information that the timeline for the 2020 Census data was pushed back.  Latest information is noted as end of July for Counties to start their processes. No final word from the State on what this all means and how this will affect the 2022 spring elections.  Will continue to update. Note: update this date was updated to ‘by September 30th’ on February 12th. 

 

Final 2021 Land Records Modernization Budget: Felton handed out the documents.

 

Agenda items for next meeting: Will add the usual pre-Budget items for meeting agenda

 

Next meetings: Thurs, May 27, 2021; Thurs. Sept. 23rd, 2021. 

 

Adjournment:  Motion by Gavin, seconded by Dederich to adjourn @ 3:16 pm.
