- Call to Order and Certification of Open Meeting Law: The meeting was called to order and compliance with the Open Meeting Law was certified by Chair Donald Stevens at 05:00 PM.

Sauk County Animal Shelter operations update:
- Animal Shelter took in 41 dogs and 26 cats in the month of February.
- The Animal Shelter dealt with a total of 6 bite cases; 5 dogs and 1 cats.

Review and approve February 2010, expenses for Coroner:
- Motion by Montgomery, seconded by Tollaksen, to approve payment of the Coroner’s expenses for February 2010, in the amount of $1,218.41. Bills discussed. Motion carried.

Review and approve February, 2010, expenses for Sheriff:
- Motion by Halfen, seconded by Tollaksen, to approve payment of the Sheriff’s Department expenses for February 2010, in the amount of $121,676.12. Bills discussed. Motion carried.

Consideration of bids for the Modular Rifle Grade Shoothouse and resolution to purchase.
- Tabled to March 16, 2010 meeting at 5:50pm.

- Boarding other Jurisdictions for February 2010 was $149,138.09
- Electronic Monitoring collected $3,404.56 for February.

- One Triple I- Diver received ear injury during an ice diver training.
- OT report for Department.

- There were 113 prisoner transports in the month of February.
- Dispatch received 4,318 calls for service in the month of February.

Adjournment
- The next regular meeting of the committee was scheduled for April 13, 2010 at 09:30 pm with a special meeting set for March 16, at 5:50pm. Motion by Halfen, seconded by Tollaksen, to adjourn the meeting.
