      Absent: None.

      Also present: Muchow; Koenig; Carignan; Jamie Busser – Village of Rock Springs; Randy Miller – Aring Equipment; Wes Ensrud – Fabco; Pat Benish – Brooks Tractor.

  1. Adopt Agenda. Motion by Tollaksen, seconded by Stevens.

          Motion carried.

  1. Adopt Minutes of Previous Meeting. Motion by Stevens, seconded by Meister.

          Motion carried.

      Village of Plain sent thank you letter for cooperation in retaining wall project.

          No Action.

      Virgil Hartje – received complaints about Highway Department employees using cell phones during work time.

          No Action.

      Hartje – complaint requesting replacing traffic signals with stop signs at Pit Road and CTH BD.

          No Action.

      Koenig – Shannahan Dam repairs completed.

          No Action.

Motion by Meister, seconded by Tollaksen to approve August 2013 vouchers in the amount of $ 16,240.82.

          Motion carried.

Motion by Stevens, seconded by Tollaksen to approve August 2013 vouchers in the amount of $ 739,856.91.

          Motion carried.

  1. Open Bids for One Motor Grader at 9:30 a.m.

4 Bids were received for one (1) Motor Grader.

Motion by Meister, seconded by Stevens to award Fabco Equipment Co. the bid for one (1) Motor Grader in the amount of $ 201,000.00 after trade with a 5 year, 3,000 hr warranty.

           Motion carried.

  1. Approve Resolution Commending Richard Hart for Years of Service.

Motion by Meister, seconded by Tollaksen to approve Resolution Commending Richard Hart for Years of Service.

            Motion carried.

  1. Consider Resolution Authorizing the Highway Department to Eliminate One Commercial Truck Driver and Create One Skilled Laborer Position Outside the Budget Process.

Motion by Tollaksen, seconded by Hartje to not purchase Extended Warranty on New Western Star Trucks.
