Members present:   Art Carlson, Bill Higgins, Terri Langer, Henry Netzinger, Joe Fish, and Mary Ellen Murray

1.  Meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Chair Murray and certified compliance with the open meeting law.

2.  Motion by Carlson, second   by Langer to adopt the agenda.  Motion carried.

3.  Motion by Higgins, second by Langer to approve the minutes of the last meeting.   Motion carried.

4.  Public Comment – None

5.  Communication – Kim mentioned that one of her fellow Sauk County Institute of Leadership members donated some of his photographs to us.  More pieces of stained glass have been installed in the Community Room.

6.   We are waiting for word regarding the possible purchase of one of the ADRC busses. Bill and John went to Baraboo to look over the bus and have made their recommendations.

7.  Joe updated the board on the Gazebo project he has been looking into for the Foundation.  Have received bids and have mapped the location on the site.  Will discuss the options with the Foundation Board in the near future and take it to the full board.  Some fundraising will have to be done.   

8.   Business Office report.   Kim presented the vouchers and highlighted items of interest.  Operations statement and aging were also discussed.

Motion by Fish, second by Carlson to approve the vouchers for the month in the amount of $106,794.62.   Motion carried.

9.  Administrator’s report.  Kim indicated that the usual meetings were attended.   She worked with a UW-Baraboo class to interview our residents and work on a memoir book, worked on payroll changes with the end of the union agreement, attended a dementia redesign meeting, and also hosted the Sauk County Institute of Leadership.  With the discontinuation of the union, we are working on the transition to Chapter 13 and Sauk County Employee Policies and Procedures for those staff.  Meetings have been held to provide information.  Also working on some internal transitional changes due to some upcoming retirements.

10.  Public comment.  None

11.  Agenda items for next month include administrator’s Performance Evaluation, update on the gazebo project, the Easter Egg Hunt and a Foundation update.

12.  Next meeting date is Thursday, April 10 at 5:30 p.m.

Motion by Carlson, second by Langer, to adjourn.  Motion carried.
