  1. Called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Steve Bach. The open meeting law requirements were met.
  2. Motion by Carlson, second by Langer to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
  3. Motion by Netzinger, second by Carlson to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Motion carried.
  4. Public comment - None
  5. Communication - Kim mentioned the nice article in the Reedsburg Independent regarding our first 6 months in the new building. Chairman Bach briefly discussed phone calls board members received from the HCC Union Representative.
  6. Discussion and consideration of Form 1 of the 2011 budget was held. Chairman Bach offered modified version of the Department Program Summary. Board approved Form 1 with changes.
    • Motion by Carlson, second by Langer to approve Form 1 of the 2011 budget. Motion carried.
  7. Business office report and voucher review. Discussion held regarding vouchers. No operations statement was available at this time.
    • Motion by Netzinger, second by Borleske to approve the vouchers in the amount of $113,867.51. Motion carried.
  8. Discussion held regarding possible write-offs and criteria for establishing the write-offs. Items discussed included uncollectible amounts, uneconomic to pursue amounts and disputes over billed amount.
    • Motion by Borleske, second by Carlson to approve the write-offs in the amount of $55,031.59. Motion carried.
  9. Anthem Insurance situation was discussed and more information was requested. We have recently received a request for more medical records regarding a resident which have been sent. We continue to work on collecting from these accounts. Will continue to ask for the assistance of Corp. Council.
  10. Administrator's report. Kim updated the board on various activities of the HCC over the past month. Will be looking at several of our providers and compare costs of supplies to maximize our budgeted dollars. Auction held and we saw a profit of $36,000 to put towards the decommissioning of the old building. Met with Doug Egre the state Medicaid Auditor, who indicated that our Medicaid rate will be going up. Will be going to Personnel/Finance for 2 reclassifications. State survey was here and we received one minor cite and four Life Safety Code cites. Meeting on Tuesday with Continuum of Care Committee to hear John Keefe's recommendations.
  11. Next meeting will be on July 8, 2010.
