PTACC conference in August in Chicago. NACO trip was cancelled due to weather.
8. Discussion regarding strategic planning and program planning:
Direction for CJCC to go in future. Oversight committee for JDS/ATC. Hold meetings with goals to accomplish. Purpose of standing committees are to resolve problems assigned by the CJCC. Examples of resolutions that came from this are the text messaging program and driver’s license reinstatement program. Need to find resolutions for systemic problems like housing and transportation. Mike and Rick spoke of changing the bylaws to eliminate standing committees and go to AD Hoc committees as needed. Rick will work on a language change in the CJCC bylaws. T.
