County Board Meeting Room 326, 3rd Floor
West Square Building, Baraboo, WI 53913
Any person who has a qualifying disability that requires the meeting or materials at the meetings to be in an accessible location or format should contact the Sauk County Clerk’s Office at 608-355-3286, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, exclusive of legal holidays, at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting so that reasonable arrangements can be made to accommodate each request.

It is anticipated that the County Board may enter into closed session pursuant to §19.85(1)(e), Wis. Stats., deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session - (Topic: Consider offers to purchase the Sauk County Healthcare Center).
A roll call vote will be taken to go into closed session and return to open session. Upon return to open session there will be an announcement of action taken in closed session, or action may be taken based on the closed session (NOTE: If the announcement of action taken in closed session would compromise the need for the closed session, the action taken will not be announced. Any action taken in closed session may be announced when the need for the closed session has passed).

1. Call to Order and Certify Compliance with Open Meeting Law: 5:00 P.M.

Ray Giannini, Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Sale Brokerage, spoke to the process of the
sale.
MOTION (Anderson/Eberl) to go into closed session allowing the following to remain:
Ray Giannini, Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Sale Brokerage; Brent Miller, Administrator; Brian Desmond, Corporation Counsel; Becky Evert, Sauk County Clerk and Emma Greenwood, Health Care Center Administrator.
VOTE: AYES: (27) Roxen, T. Spencer, Eberl, Kinsman, Scanlon, Anderson, Krueger, Flint, Clemens,
Prosser, Lombard, Schell, Dorner, Fordham, Astle, Hazard, R. Spencer, Carver, Polivka, Burchill, Peper,
Lohr, Gruber, Detter, Chrisler, Deitrich and McCumber. NAYS: (0). ABSENT & EXCUSED: (2) Rego and
Klitzke. ABSENT: (2) Stehling and McAuliffe. Motion carried unanimously.
Closed session began at 5:59 p.m.
Supervisor McAuliffe joined the meeting right as the board went into closed session.
The meeting resumed in open session at 7:47 p.m.
Chair McCumber announced that three (3) proposals to purchase the Sauk County Health Care Center
were received. The Board voted 19/9 in favor, to approve and negotiate with one (1) of the proposed
buyers. If a final agreement is reached, the purchase will come back to the Board for a vote.
18. Referrals.
19. New Agenda items (no discussion). Submit in writing or by e-mail new business items to the County
Administrator as soon as possible for Rule III.A. referral.
20. Adjournment to a date certain: MOTION (T. Spencer/Peper) to adjourn at 7:50 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
