 Call to order: 6:00 p.m.
 Compliance with Open Meeting Law.
 Roll call: PRESENT: (30) Alexander, Ashford, Bach, Borleske, Bychinski, Carlson, Dippel, Fordham, Gaalswyk, Halfen, Hartje, Haugen, Johnson, Kriegl, Krueger (7:28 p.m., excused for remainder of meeting), Lane, Lehman, Lombard, Meister, Murray, Netzinger, Nobs, Riek, Sinklair, Stehling, Stevens, Stoeckmann, Tollaksen, Wenzel (7:55 p.m., present for remainder of meeting), and Wiese. Resolution 70-2011 Authorization To Contract With J & R Underground, LLC For The Underground Fiber Optic Cable Construction To The Sauk County Highway Department. MOVED (Bychinski/Sinklair). Supervisors Bychinski and Sinklair with overview. Phil Raab, Emergency Management Buildings Safety Communication Technician, addressed the Board regarding bids; use of fiber optic cable by area schools; and future fiber optic cable construction to other facilities. Resolution 71-2011 Authorizing An Agreement With The Sauk County Development Corporation For Administrative Support Services Within The Conservation, Planning and Zoning Department. MOVED (Murray/Wenzel). Supervisors with overview. Discussion regarding office space; office equipment; billing for Sauk County Development Corporation for services; and parking. VOTE: AYE: (29) Alexander, Ashford, Bach, Borleske, Bychinski, Carlson, Dippel, Fordham, Gaalswyk, Halfen, Hartje, Haugen, Johnson, Kriegl, Lane, Lehman, Lombard, Meister, Murray, Netzinger, Nobs, Riek, Sinklair, Stehling, Stevens, Stoeckmann, Tollaksen, Wenzel and Wiese. NAY: (0). ABSENT: (2) Krueger and Zowin. Motion carried unanimously.


Resolution 72-2011 Authorizing Attendance At The Southern Area Association Meeting and Tour. MOVED (Lehman/Lane), to withdraw resolution from agenda, as the resolution is not necessary per Rules of the Sauk County Board of Supervisors, Rule V. Compensation,
B. As provided by Wis. Stat. § 59.13(2) (2009), no supervisor shall be allowed pay for committee service while the Board is in session, but the Board may authorize payment of per diem, mileage and reimbursement for other expenses for attendance at any school, institute or meeting which the Board directs them to attend. Each standing committee is specifically authorized to send up to two (2) members to up to two (2) conventions (including conferences and other trainings) per year. The convention cannot exceed three (3) days or be farther than three hundred (300) miles. All other requests require approval by a majority of the Board. Wis. Stat. § 59.13(2) (2009).

PROPERTY & INSURANCE:
Resolution 73-2011 Approving Of Lease Of 150 Square Feet Of Office Space To The Sauk County Development Corporation. MOVED (Stevens/Gaalswyk). Supervisors Stevens and Gaalswyk with overview. Todd Liebman, Corporation Counsel, clarified the definition of “demised premises”,(under Article Three, Rental, Section 3.1), refers to the space occupied by a tenant under a lease contract. VOTE: AYE: (29) Alexander, Ashford, Bach, Borleske, Bychinski, Carlson, Dippel, Fordham, Gaalswyk, Halfen, Hartje, Haugen, Johnson, Kriegl, Lane, Lehman, Lombard, Meister, Murray, Netzinger, Nobs, Riek, Sinklair, Stehling, Stevens, Stoeckmann, Tollaksen, Wenzel and Wiese. NAY: (0). ABSENT: (2) Krueger and Zowin. Motion carried unanimously.

Resolution 74-2011 To Eliminate A Dietary Technician Position And Create A Part-Time Registered Dietitian Project Position In The Women Infants And Children Program Outside Of The Budget Process.
