Resolution 64-2011 Ratifying the 2010-2011 Collective Bargaining Agreement Between Sauk County and AFSCME Local 252 (Sheriff’s Department Non Sworn). MOVED (Tollaksen/Bychinski). Supervisor Tollaksen with overview and recommendation for unanimous support. Michelle Posewitz, Personnel Director, regarding the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and clarification that this agreement is for non sworn clerical and dispatch employees within the Sheriff’s Department. Discussion regarding Sauk County wage history (on file); percentage budgeted for; and note that this is the only group not ratified. MOVED (Bychinski/Tollaksen), for the previous question (to end discussion). PLANNING, ZONING AND LAND RECORDS and LAND CONSERVATION:
Resolution 65-2011 Approval Of An Agreement Between The State Of Wisconsin Department Of Agriculture, Trade And Consumer Protection And Sauk County For A Farmland Preservation Planning Grant. MOVED (Gaalswyk/Wiese). Supervisors Gaalswyk and Wiese with overview, and in support of resolution. Discussion regarding State Statute 91.10(1) requirement to adopt a new Farmland Preservation Plan before the current one expires in 2012. Brentt Michalek, Conservation, Planning and Zoning Director, clarifying there is not a penalty to landowners for going out of the Farmland Preservation Program early; that funds for Farmland tax credits and Farmland Preservation will be combined; and that the County still receives all tax revenue. VOTE: AYE: (26) Alexander, Ashford, Bach, Borleske, Bychinski, Dippel, Fordham, Gaalswyk, Halfen, Hartje, Haugen, Johnson, Kriegl, Lane, Lehman, Meister, Murray, Netzinger, Nobs, Riek, Sinklair, Stehling, Stoeckmann, Wenzel, Wiese, and Zowin.
