Service Updates:
Nutrition:
-
Lost 10 clients in April. A small drop off, but from 1-1-17 to 4-30-17 there have been 17,503 served. Should have funds to start pilot program.
-
Lake Delton Dining Site: Reopened 5-18-17.
-
GWAAR assessment completed. No deficiencies. Jen Kamrowski did an amazing job making sure everything was taken care of for the assessment.
-
GWAAR $7500 Revitalization Grant: Three (3) different ideas have been raised for the use of the monies:
-
Restaurant model (Spring Green site)
-
Breakfast Bags (1x a week-all sites)
-
Salad Bar options. (1x a week-Lake Delton)
Moore questioned if the grant would cover full cost. Blodgett replied no. Several discussions took place about each specific site and the different pros & cons of each idea. Moore felt the committee should consider the Breakfast Bags first and then look to the other possibilities if money is available.
-
Discussions as to why Lake Delton’s site was closed and a petition received which was signed by 12-13 people who stated that the site NEEDED to be reopened. Blodgett spoke to the Lake Delton village administrator and explained that the site needs at least 15 diners to keep it running. The site was REOPENED on 5-8-2017.
Caregiver:

Other ADRC Services Updates:
-
Space Issues: Trying to find space to accommodate the whole department on the 2nd floor. Checking on funding from the State & GWAAR. This will determine if this is possible.
-
