REGULAR MEETING
ATTENDANCE:
Members Present: Arthur Carlson, Chair, Tommy Lee Bychinski, Ruth Dawson, Carol Held, and Tom Kriegl.
Others Present: Kathy Schauf, Sauk County Administrative Coordinator, Trish Vandre, Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County Director, Thomas L. Litscher, Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County Mobility Operations Manager, Lee J. Roundy, Aging & Disability of Sauk County Fiscal Accounting Technician, Suzanne Johnson, Aging & Disability Resource Center of Sauk County Volunteer Administrative Assistant.
Absent: None.
CALL TO ORDER: The Meeting was called to order by A. Carlson at 8:15 a.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
ADOPT AGENDA: Motion by T. Bychinski to adopt the Agenda, as revised below, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
Move Subjects for Discussion 8, 9, and 10 (Elections) before Subject 6 (Evaluation).
ADOPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the April 11, 2012 Regular Meeting Minutes, second by A. Carlson. Motion carried.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None.
COMMUNICATIONS: None
CONSIDER POSSIBLE ELECTION OF THE AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER COMMITTEE CHAIR: Motion by R. Dawson to elect A. Carlson as the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Chair, second by T. Bychinski. Motion carried.
CONSIDER POSSIBLE ELECTION OF THE AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER COMMITTEE VICE CHAIR: Motion by T. Bychinski to elect R. Dawson as the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Vice-Chair, second by C. Held. Motion carried.
CONSIDER POSSIBLE ELECTION OF THE AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER COMMITTEE SECRETARY: Motion by T. Bychinski to elect C. Held as the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Secretary, second by T. Kriegl. Motion carried.
CONSIDER POSSIBLE CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO WISC. STATS 19.85 (1)(c) CONSIDERING EMPLOYMENT, PROMOTIONS, COMPENSATIONS, OR PERFORMANCE EVALUATION DATA OF ANY PUBLIC EMPLOYEE OVER WHICH THE GOVERNMENTAL BODY HAS JURISDICTION OR EXERCISES RESPONSIBILITY. PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF THE AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER DIRECTOR: Motion by T. Bychinski to go into Closed Session pursuant to Wisc. Stats 19.85 (1) (c) Considering employment, promotions, compensations, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Performance evaluation of Aging & Disability Resource Center Director, second by R. Dawson. Ayes four (4), Nays one (1).
Motion carried.
CONSIDER RECONVENING IN OPEN SESSION: Motion by T. Bychinski to reconvene in Open Session, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
VETERANS SERVICE OFFICE BUSINESS ITEMS:
A. 2013 Budget Process: Veterans Service Office Mission, Vision, and Program Review:
L. Roundy distributed the 2012 Veterans Service Office Mission, Vision, and Programs for Committee review.
B. Veterans Service Office Departmental Update and Service Trends: L. Roundy distributed and presented the Veterans Service Office departmental update and service trends for Committee discussion.
C. Consider Approval of the Monthly Invoices: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the April Monthly Invoices, in the amount of $2,537.95, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE:
The next regular Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory and Transportation Coordination Committee Meetings will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER OF SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN – NORTH BOARD UPDATE: T. Vandre presented the Aging & Disability Resource Center of Southwest Wisconsin-North Board Update for Committee discussion.
AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER BUSINESS ITEMS:
A. Consider Approval of Filling Vacant Full-Time Elderly Benefit Specialist Position: Withdrawn by T. Vandre.
B. Consider Approval of Purchasing Up to Two (2) Used, Medium 12/2 Buses Using the Existing (Federal) Section 5310 Grant: Motion by T. Bychinski to purchases two (2) used, medium 12/2 buses, second by R. Dawson. Motion carried.
C. 2013 Budget Process: Aging & Disability Resource Center Mission, Vision, and Program Review: L. Roundy distributed the 2012 Aging & Disability Resource Center Mission, Vision and Programs for Committee review.
D. Aging & Disability Resource Center Departmental Update and Service Trends: T. Vandre presented the Aging & Disability Resource Center departmental update and service trends for Committee discussion.
E. Review the Monthly Financial Statements: L. Roundy distributed and presented the monthly financial statements for Committee discussion.
F. Consider Approval of the Monthly Invoices: Motion by T. Bychinski to approve the April Monthly Invoices, in the amount of $37,923.12, second by C. Held. Motion carried.
NEXT MEETING: The next regular Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee Meeting
will be held Monday, June 11, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at the Sauk County West Square Building, 505
Broadway Baraboo, Wisconsin 53913.
The Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee tentatively scheduled the July Meeting onWednesday, July 11, 2012 at 8:15 a.m. at the Sauk County West Square Building, 505 Broadway Baraboo, Wisconsin 53913.
