CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by A. Carlson at 8:30 a.m. and was certified to be in compliance with the Open Meeting Law.
AGENDA:
Motion by T. Hill to adopt the Agenda, as submitted, second by R. Soeldner. Motion carried.
ADOPT MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING:
Motion by D. Nelson to approve the October 28, 2009 and the February 3, 2010 Minutes, second by T. Hill. Motion carried.

Committee introductions were performed.

- Consider Election of Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Chair: Nomination by D. Nelson of A. Carlson for Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Chair, second by J. Pearson. Motion by P. Murray to accept A. Carlson as Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Chair and move that nominations be closed and an unanimous vote be cast, second by T. Hill. Motion carried.
- Consider Election of Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Vice Chair: Nomination by P. Murray of D. Nelson for Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Vice Chair, second by T. Hill. Motion by P. Murray to accept D. Nelson as Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Vice Chair and move that nominations be closed and an unanimous vote be cast, second by T. Hill. Motion carried.
- Consider Election of Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Secretary: Nomination by P. Murray of J. Pearson for Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Secretary, second by R. Soeldner. Motion by D. Nelson to accept J. Pearson as Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Secretary and move that nominations be closed and an unanimous vote be cast, second by R. Soeldner. Motion carried.
- Consider Dining Center Utilization Recommendation to the Aging & Disability Resource Center Committee: Motion by J. Pearson to recommend suspending the Congregate Program in both the North Freedom and Plain Dining Centers, second by P. Murray. R. Soeldner abstained. Motion carried.
AGING & DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER OF SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN – NORTH BOARD UPDATE:
T. Vandre and J. Pearson provided an update from the most recent Aging & Disability Resource Center of Southwest Wisconsin – North Board meeting.
DEPARTMENTAL UPDATE:
- Director’s Update: T. Vandre presented the update for Committee discussion.
- Aging & Disability Resource Center Service Statistics & Trends: T. Vandre presented current ADRC trends for Committee discussion.
- Dining Center Utilization Discussion: T. Vandre presented information regarding the Congregate Program throughout Sauk County for Committee discussion.
BOARD DEVELOPMENT:
A. Program Review: Aging & Disability Resource Center Core Services: J. Pritzkow presented the Aging & Disability Resource Center Core Services for Committee discussion.
ADVOCACY:
- Response to Mailings Received by Members: None.
- Report from the Communities: Issues Raised, Priorities Expressed: D. Nelson presented issues raised about the Foot Care Clinic.
- Age-Friendly Communities Project: T. Vandre distributed and presented the Age-Friendly Community Project for Committee review.
NEXT MEETING:
The next Regular Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee Meeting will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 8:30 a.m. at the West Square Building, Conference Room 213 on the Second Floor.
ADJOURNMENT:
Motion by J. Pearson to adjourn the Aging & Disability Resource Center Advisory Committee at 10:28 a.m., second by D. Nelson. Motion carried.
