Updated News Release - STH 33 Crash
UPDATED NEWS RELEASE
On April 19, 2016 the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office investigated a traffic crash on STH 33 in the Town of Greenfield that injured five people.
The driver of the van was identified as Kendall N. McKee, age 26, of Baraboo. Passengers were identified as Angel M. Wirts, age 27, of Baraboo, Zalina H. Wirts McKee, age 2, Randall O. Wirts, age 5, and Laith T. Wirts McKee, age 1. Kendall McKee and Angel Wirts were wearing seatbelts and Zalina Wirts McKee and Laith McKee were seated in child safety seats. It is unknown at this time if Randall Wirts was in a child safety seat or wearing a seatbelt.
The Sauk County Coroner’s Office notified the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office that Zalina Wirts McKee, age 2, was pronounced dead at University of Wisconsin Hospital on April 24, 2016 at 11:11 pm from injuries sustained in this traffic crash.
This incident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
