Traffic Crash - OWI #4

On Friday, April 14, 2023 at approximately 3:54 PM, the Sauk County Communications Center received a report of a three vehicle crash with injuries in the area of CTH H near Keenan Ct., in the Township of Winfield.  

During the crash investigation, a Sauk County Deputy made contact with an operator of one of the involved vehicles who was identified as Bobby N. Waldner, age 52, of Richland Center.

While speaking with Waldner, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. From the Deputy’s investigation, Waldner was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated 4^th Offense.

The charge of Operating While Intoxicated 4^th Offense is being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Reedsburg Police Department, the Reedsburg Fire Department, and the Reedsburg Area Ambulance Service.
