Traffic Accident CTH N
On July 27, 2019 at 2:03 pm the Sauk County Communications Center received a call of a traffic accident involving a motorcycle and farm machinery on County Hwy N in the Township of Bear Creek. Sauk County Sheriff's Deputies, Plain Police Department, Hillpoint Fire and First Responders, Plain Fire and Ambulance, as well as UW Hospital Med Flight responded to the scene.
The initial investigation shows a motorcycle being operated by one male occupant was traveling east on County Hwy N when the motorcycle encountered a disabled farm tractor and trailer as well as a truck stopped in the roadway, blocking both the eastbound and westbound traffic lanes. The motorcycle struck the truck and then the trailer which was attached to the farm tractor. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to UW Hospital by the Plain Ambulance Service. The operators of the truck and tractor were not injured.
This traffic accident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff's Office, names of the parties involved are not being released at this time.
