Subject Arrested to 5th Offense OWI

SPECIAL NEWS RELEASE

On August 5, 2011, at 7:31 p.m., a Sauk County Sheriff's Department Deputy stopped a vehicle on North Reedsburg Road, in the area of the American Legion parking lot, for failing to have a front license plate. The vehicle was being operated by Tyrone L. Walker, age 34, of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. The vehicle was occupied by one adult female passenger and two juvenile passengers. As a result of the investigation, Walker was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, fifth offense, with a Child 16 or Under in Vehicle. He was also arrested for Operating After Revocation (OWI related), fourth and subsequent offense; and Fail to Install Ignition Interlock Device. In addition, he was arrested on a Probation & Parole Apprehension Request for a probation violation and was incarcerated in the Sauk County Jail.
