On January 25th, 2016, at about 6:30 pm, The Sauk County Communications Center received a report of a man who had been stabbed and was currently in the area of the registration building of Christmas Mountain Village in the Township of Dellona.

Initial information received was that the man had been stabbed by a female acquaintance that he had been staying at the resort with.
