"Drugs have a much more far reaching effect on society than most people realize. Heroin, Methamphetamine and other illegal drugs cost money. Most drug addicts do not have money from legitimate sources to purchase these drugs. Because of this, society is put at even greater risk from drug addicts committing Burglaries and potentially violent home invasions to obtain money illegally to feed their habit. These, at a minimum, violate our resident’s sense of safety and security in their homes, expose them to property loss and a very real potential for physical harm in the event the resident is home when these acts occur, not to mention the very real hazards and costs related to methamphetamine production and waste.”
