Robbery

 

Special News Release

October 9, 2016

 

On October 9, 2016 at approximately 5:01AM the Sauk County Communications Center received a 911 call from a clerk at the First Stop BP gas station and convenience store at S3118 CTH BD in the Town of Delton reporting that a robbery had just taken place.  It was reported that one subject entered the store at the time of the robbery while two other subjects remained outside the store. The clerk provided a description of the vehicle, the license plate number and a description of the three suspects involved.  Two of the subjects fled on foot from the scene while one left in the vehicle.  Deputies were able to locate the vehicle within a matter of minutes and took the driver into custody.  The other two subjects were located, in two different locations, a short time later and taken into custody.  

 

As a result, Karissa L. Litscher, age 39, of West Baraboo has been charged with Robbery.  She is currently incarcerated in the Sauk County Jail.  The other two subjects were interviewed by Sauk County Detectives and released.  This incident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff's Office.
