Robbery

     On May 13, 2014 at 12:41 AM, Sauk County Sheriff’s Office received notification from subjects at a residence located in the Village of West Baraboo, WI that an Armed Robbery  had just taken place. It was initially reported that there were two victims with injuries at the residence. It was also reported that two male suspects had fled from the scene in a black Ford vehicle. The victims reported that the suspects were armed with a rifle, a knife and Brass Knuckles. Through further investigation a third suspect was found to have been driving the suspect vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently located in Cross Plains.  The driver, identified as Andrew J. Bollerud, age 19, was taken into custody by the Cross Plains Police Department and the Dane County Sheriff’s Office and turned over to Sauk County authorities.  He has been charged with Robbery – Use of a Dangerous Weapon / Party to a Crime.  The other suspects have been identified as Michael A. Bray, age 19, and Taylor James Christian, age 20.  Bray and Christian have not yet been located and arrest warrants have been issued for Bray and for Christian for Armed Robbery – Use of Force.  It appears that this was a targeted incident and that a narcotics transaction was the catalyst for this event.                  

      The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Cross Plains Police Department, The Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the Baraboo Police Department. The investigation is on-going.
