OWI 7th Offense
On June 24th, 2022 at approximately 1:45 a.m., the Sauk County Communication Center dispatched deputies to the area of HWY 33 and Mirror Lake Rd. in the Town of Delton for a report of a white sedan all over the road and crossing the center line. Deputies located the vehicle on HWY 33 and later stopped it.
The driver of the white sedan was identified as Brittney Sue Hellem, age 48, of Wisconsin Dells, WI. Deputies observed signs of impairment and Hellem was subsequently arrested for Operating While Intoxicated.
Hellem has 6 prior convictions for Operating While Intoxicated. Hellem was transported to the Sauk County Jail and has been charged with Operating While Intoxicated 7th Offense, Operating After Suspension, and Possess Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle.
