OWI #6

On July 27, 2025 at approximately 11:09PM, a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 14 in the Township of Spring Green. The Deputy made contact with Alan M Johnson, age 52, of Viroqua, WI.

While speaking with Johnson, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Johnson was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Johnson was placed under arrest for Operating while intoxicated – 6^th Offense.

Charges of OWI #6, Operating while revoked, failure to install ignition interlock device, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, unsafe lane deviation, operating without insurance, and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
