On Sunday, August 27th, 2023 at approximately 3:25 PM the Sauk County Dispatch Center was notified of a disturbance taking place on North Reedsburg Road in the township of Delton. It was reported that a male who was believed to be under the influence of alcohol was trying to start fights with other individuals gathered at this location. The male was identified by those on scene as Kyle Garvin, age 42 of LaCrosse, WI and a physical description was provided to responding deputies.
Prior to deputies arriving on scene, Garvin got into a vehicle a left. He was located driving on US Highway 12 near the intersection with I90/94 and a traffic stop was conducted. During contact with Garvin, deputies noted signs of alcohol impairment. As a result of the traffic stop, Garvin was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, 6th offense, Operating While Revoked due to OWI as well as a warrant. Garvin was transported to the Sauk County Jail and turned over to the custody of jail staff without incident.
