On Thursday, February 3, 2022 at approximately 7:38 PM, a deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office observed a vehicle in the ditch near CTH H and CTH HH. The deputy made contact with the operator who was identified as Justin F. Dickman, age 36 of Mauston.
While speaking to Dickman, the deputy observed signs of impairment. Dickman refused standardized field sobriety testing and was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 5th Offense.
Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 5th Offense are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
