On Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at approximately 6:06PM, a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a disturbance complaint on Highway 23, near Ohio Road, in the Town of Franklin. While performing an investigation into what had occurred, the suspect vehicle involved was located. The Deputy performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with Gregory Oetzman, age 41, of Loganville, WI.

While speaking with Oetzman, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Oetzman was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Oetzman was placed under arrest for Operating While Intoxicated - 4^th Offense.

Charges of Operating While Intoxicated - 4^th Offense, armed while intoxicated, operating without a license, possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, and non-registration of auto are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
