On Saturday, September 30, 2023 at approximately 7:17 PM, a Sauk County Deputy stopped a vehicle for passing into oncoming traffic, nearly striking an oncoming vehicle on STH 23 near the intersection of Herritz Rd in the township of Reedsburg.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Henry J. McMillian age 65 of Richland Center, WI. While speaking to McMillian, the deputy observed signs of impairment. McMillian was asked to submit to field sobriety testing and as result was arrested for Operating while Intoxicated - 4th offense.
Charges of Operating While Intoxicated 4th Offense and Open Intoxicants in Motor Vehicle are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
