On April 1st, 2022 at approximately 6:20 PM the Sauk County Communications Center received multiple calls regarding a driving complaint on State Highway 33. The vehicle was located by a deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff's Office, operating in the wrong lane of traffic on State Highway 33 at Mirror Lake Road in the Township of Delton. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Keith Gage, age 75 of Reedsburg. While in contact with Gage, the deputy observed several signs of impairment. Gage was requested to submit to field sobriety testing and was unable to complete the tests. As a result, Gage was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 4th Offense. Gage was transported to the Sauk County Jail and turned over to jail staff.
