On Sunday, August 20, 2023 at approximately 1:37AM, a Deputy from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 12 near Ski Hi Road in the Town of Sumpter. The Deputy made contact with the operator, who was identified as Ava F Jindra, age 33, of Baraboo.
While speaking with Jindra, the Deputy observed signs of impairment. Jindra was asked to perform field sobriety tests. As a result of those tests, Jindra was placed under arrest for Operating While under the Influence 3rd Offense.
Charges of Operating While under the Influence 3rd Offense are being referred to the Sauk County District Attorney’s Office.
