On Friday, June 10th, 2022 at approximately 10:00 PM a deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation on West Pine Street in the Village of West Baraboo.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Juan Antonio Corona Jr. age 49 of Baraboo. During contact with Corona the deputy noted signs of impairment. Corona was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated - 3rd Offense. Corona was transported to the Sauk County Jail.
A charge of Operating While Intoxicated 3rd - Offense will be referred to the Sauk County District Attorney's Office.
