On Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at approximately 5:10 PM the Sauk County Communications Center received a driving complaint on USH 12 in the Township of Sumpter. The vehicle was located by a deputy with the Sauk County Sheriff's Office on USH 12 at Kalahari Drive in the Village of Lake Delton. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.
The operator of the vehicle was identified as Donald Lockwood, age 61 of Wisconsin Dells. While in contact with Lockwood, the deputy observed several signs of impairment. Lockwood was asked to do field sobriety tests and as a result of those tests, was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated-3rd Offense. Lockwood was transported to the Sauk County Jail and turned over to jail staff.
