One Vehicle Accident on CTH PF

One Vehicle Crash County Highway PF

On October 2, 2012 at 10:13 AM, the Sauk County Sheriff's Office was notified of a truck that had rolled over on County Highway PF just north of Sky View Rd in the Town of Honey Creek. The reporting party stated the straight truck had rolled over and that the driver was out of the cab but injured. Sauk County Deputies, the Plain Fire Department and the Plain Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival the deputy found that a 1991 White GM grain truck was laying on its right side off the road and had spilled its load of soybeans. The investigation revealed that the driver, Edward Reimer, age 78, of Loganville, WI lost control of the vehicle as he was coming down a hill and negotiating a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled one and one quarter times. Reimer was not wearing his seat belt and had been partially ejected through the windshield. Reimer was thought to have head and back injuries. Reimer was treated at the scene by the Plain Ambulance and then transported to the UW Hospital.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Plain Fire Department, Plain Ambulance, Med Flight and the Wisconsin State Patrol. Reimer was issued a citation for failure to wear a seat belt.
