North Freedom man arrested for growing marijuana. .

 

            On 09/26/2014 the Sauk County Drug Task Force, in response to an ongoing investigation into the manufacture and sales of Marijuana, executed a search warrant at 105 South Maple Street, North Freedom, Sauk County, Wisconsin. As a result of the search warrant, Edward H. Aylsworth, 66 years of age, was arrested for the following offenses:

 

            Manufacture of Marijuana, Class G Felony

            Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Class G Felony

            Maintain a Drug Dwelling, Class I Felony

            Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Class A Misdemeanor

            Possession of Firearm by a Felon, Class G Felony

 

Found within the residence and on his property were 33 Cultivated Marijuana plants and processed Marijuana, worth an estimated street value of over $50,000.00.  Marijuana grow equipment, manuals, pipes, scales and other items used for the cultivation and processing of Marijuana. Also located in the residence was a shotgun which is prohibited as Aylsworth is a convicted Felon. Aylsworth was incarcerated at the Sauk County Jail.
