INCIDENTS:

On December 29, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., the Sauk County Sheriff's Department received a report of an airplane crash near the Sauk-Prairie Airport. The pilot, a 75 year old man from Middleton, Wisconsin, was attempting to land the plane and was flying low in an attempt to see where the runaway was located, when he suddenly noticed some power lines. The pilot then dove below the power lines and landed in the field. The pilot was not injured in the incident.
