Motorcycle Crash

News Release

 

On July 31, 2016 at 2:49pm the Sauk County Communications Center received a call regarding a car versus motorcycle crash on County Highway PF approximately 800 feet east of Old Bluff Trail in the Township of Prairie du Sac.

Sauk County Sheriff's Deputies, Sauk Prairie Ambulance and Sauk City Fire Department personnel responded.  An initial investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Lisa A. Row, age 54 of Baraboo, WI, turned westbound onto County Highway PF from a private driveway and was rear-ended by a motorcycle driven by Michael T. Wadzinski, age 20 of Waunakee, WI.

Both operators were transported to Sauk Prairie Healthcare by Sauk Prairie Ambulance.  Row was being treated for non-life threatening injuries.  She had been wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash.  Wadzinski, who was wearing a helmet, was being treated for serious injuries.  He was transferred to UW Hospital by MedFlight.  Alcohol was not a factor.

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sauk City Fire Department and Sauk Prairie Ambulance.  The crash remains under investigation.
