Missing Person - Silver Alert

NEWS RELEASE – MISSING PERSON

On March 31, 2016 at approximately 9:50 p.m.  the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person.  It was reported that John R. Gould, age 84, had not returned home from the Dodgeville, WI area.  Mr. Gould’s last known location was in Dodgeville at approximately 6:30 p.m.  Sauk County Sheriff’s Deputies checked the Gould residence in the Town of Excelsior and were unable to locate Gould or his vehicle at the residence.   Sauk and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies checked the route of travel Mr. Gould would have taken home from Dodgeville, and were unable to locate Gould or his vehicle.

John R. Gould is an 84 year old white male, is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds.  He has short to medium length gray hair which is parted on the left side.  He also wears glasses and has hazel colored eyes.  Gould was last seen wearing black jeans, a tan jacket, and a baseball cap.  Gould has medical issues requiring prescription medication.  Gould is also believed to be in the early stages of Dementia.  Mr. Gould has no history of this type of behavior.

John R. Gould is believed to operating a red or maroon 2014 Chrysler 300 4 door sedan with Wisconsin registration 552CPM.

Citizens are asked to report any sightings of Mr. Gould and his vehicle and to report any information you may have to the Sauk County Sheriff's Office at (608) 356-4895.
