Missing Person Located

On Monday, May 11th, 2015, the Sauk County Sheriffs Office began an investigation into the disappearance of Nicholas P. Moen, who had went missing after a work related disciplinary matter. In the early stages of the investigation, numerous attempts to locate Mr. Moen were unsuccessful. Sauk County Detectives, working closely with Mr. Moens family, believed that contact had been made via social media with Mr. Moen, but that could not be verified until personal contact was made, and Mr. Moens well being was confirmed.

On Saturday, June 13th, 2015, the Sauk County Sheriffs Office was contacted by the Colfax, Wisconsin Police Department and notified that Mr. Moen had presented himself to them at their Police Department, and his safety and well being were verified, at which point, the attempt to locate Mr. Moen was cancelled. Mr. Moen was with Family members while at the Police Department.
