Lehman Road Fatal Crash
***FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE***
On March 2, 2014 at approximately 12:36am the Sauk County Communications Center received a report of a single vehicle roll-over crash on Lehman Road west of USH 12 in the Township of Baraboo. Sauk County Sheriff’s Deputies, Baraboo Fire Department, and Baraboo Ambulance were immediately sent to the scene.
Emergency personnel arrived and located the vehicle on its roof. The driver, and lone occupant, was pinned inside the vehicle. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Sauk County Coroner Greg Hahn.
The Driver was not wearing his seatbelt and alcohol is believed to be a factor. The drivers name is not being released at this time pending notification of next of kin. This incident remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office and the Sauk County Coroner’s Office.
