Juvenile Sexual Assault

On February 14, 2014 approximately 8:50 PM the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a sexual assault that had occurred at a home in the Township of Delton. 

The deputy learned as the result of his investigation that a 14 year old female had been in contact with a male individual on Facebook.  Arrangements were made to meet at the residence.  During the brief meeting the male, who is 21 years of age, had sexual contact with the female.  

As a result of the investigation, William R. Ellison, from Baraboo, was arrested for Second Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.  Ellison was arrested and remains in the Sauk County Jail.  If convicted Ellison could receive a fine not to exceed $100,000 or imprisonment not to exceed 40 years, or both.
