Fatal Crash Update
The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the names of those involved in the fatal pedestrian crash on July 8, 2017 that occurred USH 12 and Berkley Blvd in the Village of West Baraboo.
Kedzie R. McCumber, age 18, of Merrimac was operating a 2000 Toyota Camry southbound on USH 12 at Berkley Blvd. when Emily R. Snyder, age 23, of Worth, IL, ran eastbound across USH 12 in front of McCumber. McCumber was unable to stop in time and struck Snyder. Snyder was pronounced dead at the scene by the Sauk County Coroner’s Office.
This crash remains under investigation by the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office.
