Drug Search Warrant - City of Baraboo

SPECIAL NEWS RELEASE

 

 

On October 23, 2013, officers with the Sauk County Drug Task Force and the City of Baraboo Police Department executed a search warrant at 714 Birch Street in the City of Baraboo.   The warrant was issued in response to an on-going investigation regarding the use and possible sale of Marijuana (THC) and other illegal drugs.

As a result of this Search Warrant, Charles A Noel , 31 years of age,  from Baraboo and Trever J Shelby  22 years of age, from Baraboo  were arrested for Possession of THC, Possession of Drug paraphernalia and Resisting / Obstructing an Officer and Maintaining a Drug Dwelling. 

Additionally, Miranda Sue Smothers , 21 years of age, from Baraboo and Tayler John Shelby , 20 years of age, from Baraboo,  were arrested and then released on charges of Possession of THC and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

As a result of this search warrant, Marijuana, Illegal Prescription Medications, Drug Paraphernalia and U. S. Currency were located and seized.

The Sauk County Drug Task Force consists of members from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office, Baraboo Police Department, Sauk Prairie Police Department, Reedsburg Police Department, Lake Delton Police Department, Spring Green / Plain Police Department and the Wisconsin State Patrol.
