Drug Investigation / Search Warrants - Prairie du Sac

On April 14^th, 2025 the Sauk County Drug Task Force executed search warrants at multiple locations in the Village of Prairie du Dac, including a business on 15^th Street, a residence on 21^st Street and a storage unit complex on North Street.  The searches were conducted in connection with an on-going drug investigation involving the distribution of cocaine and other drugs.

During the search, Officers seized more than 300 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, firearms, THC products, and cash. 

The below charges, against Joseph Moran, 41, of Prairie du Sac, will be referred to the District Attorney’s Office

Possession with intent to deliver cocaine > 40 grams, possession with intent to deliver THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, money laundering, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and delivery of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school.  The investigation is on-going and additional charges are possible.
